Pregnant woman thrown out of hospital after failing to pay 11000

This lady and now new mother was not treated well at Ganjoni Hospital where why demanded deposit of ksh 11,000 for treatment, medicines and delivery. When the lady didnt have she was almost forcibly talen out of the facility by the guards were it not for Chief Musa who videoed the incident and even paid the ksh 1400 for basic treatment. Earlier they had moved to and from other Hospitals to no avail like Mlaleo CDF Hospital, Mlaleo Hospital, Marianist Hospital (Catholic Bombolu Workshop) The lady is registered with Linda Mama Program. Ambulance to Coast General costs ksh 3500. The County HQ and KRCS really assisted me and chief musa during the time at 3am but couldnt due to cost factors involved. 

Its a sad situation for new mothers where financial constraints hinder normal delivery at most Hospitals especially at night where medical personnel arent available. 

All the above happened on World Women's Day!
